That pretty much sums up another unforgettable night of connection at the 6th Annual Heels & Handshakes Speed Networking Event Presented by Skillway!

We brought an incredible group of women in business together at Loveless Events in Nashville for an evening filled with introductions, laughter, high-energy and plenty of new connections.

Speed networking is one of our favorite events of the year because it creates space to meet women you may not have crossed paths with otherwise. Whether you came looking for a potential collaborator, new client, mentor, friend, or simply wanted to expand your network, there was no shortage of opportunities to connect.

One of the biggest reminders from this year's event came from our presenting partner, Dew Tinnin with Skillway.

Meeting someone is only the first step.

The real value of networking comes from what you do after the event.

Dew encouraged attendees to choose three intentional connections from the evening and take action. That could mean sending a follow-up email, scheduling coffee, making an introduction, sharing a resource, or simply reaching out to continue the conversation.

Because the goal isn't to collect the most business cards.
