Megan Scurlock is the owner and lead planner of Locklane Weddings & Events. A Texas native, she moved to Nashville in the spring of 2010, just a few months before the flood. She lives in Franklin with her husband, two daughters, their pup, and a couple of koi.

Maysoon is a Mobile, Alabama native, who loves to combine her southern and middle eastern cultures in events and food. If she isn't working you can find her in the kitchen trying new baking and cooking recipes. Having always shown an interest in volunteerism, events and catering it felt natural to her to build a career in serving people.

You asked, we listened and it was a huge success. Our first speed networking event was hosted at Puckett's Backstage. I have to be honest, I was very hesitant about hosting a speed networking event as that is not our style. In Heels, we encourage our attendees to have intentional conversations and really get to know the person. I was afraid with this style of event we wouldn't be true to who we are. However; to my surprise everyone loved this event. I had a couple attendees tell me they were so grateful for this format because they were able to meet so many people that they wouldn't normally have had the chance to connect with in one night.

Emily Taylor is the Venue Manager for The Space at 100 Taylor Nashville's most collaborative co-working space and trendy venue. Gather. Work. Collaborate. The Space is perfect for a photoshoot, a small gathering, to a full on wedding reception.

In the last year, Jessica E. Thompson (Williams) has created a wellness mastermind group and launched Wellness 360 — a holistic wellness program that she has packaged into both a two-day retreat and six-week virtual learning course. With that, it is her mission to educate about deeply rooted racism in the wellness space, its intersectionalities, and how to dismantle said systems.

I started out in the sports industry since my internship with American Junior Golf Association in college and I've been involved with the sports industry since to help others find their love for any sports in any setting.
